When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

This was a graphic I did for my English class project on the book "The Scarlet Letter" By Nathaniel Hawthorne.
This scene shows some of the important elements of the book; Hester with her scarlet letter A on her chest; Pearl dancing and showing her free and wild spirit; the rosebush next to the jail, and the A in the sky, representing "angel" as the townspeople say. The scarlet color ties into the whole piece; from the scarlet of Hester's A to the color of the night sky. *shrugs* for a school project, I think it's not too shabby. Finished on October 13, 11:30 pm, in Photoshop Cs2. |
